The House of Hope program provides Long-term housing assistance to single working mothers who make a strong commitment to developing the appropriate skills to recover from poverty and homelessness. Participants benefit from a personalized program designed to achieve their ultimate goal of being self-sufficient.
Each mother is paired with a mentor and family support team from a local church who commits to walk with her on this journey. We provide a assistance for dental services, vision care, discount bus passes and assistance in buying a car, if appropriate.
We have nine individual residences that are completely stocked with furniture, kitchenware, and bedding. It is truly a home when they move in This allows each woman to operate as a family by maintaining a household, cooking, and cleaning for their family.
They must attend Life Skills and Bible studies two nights a week and participate in program rules and activities. Childcare with a Christian perspective is provided during these classes.
